Don’t Let Wasps Ruin your Outdoor Fun. Here’s How to Drive them Away.


Wasps are different insects with near about 3,0000 species. They primarily come in all colors from brown to yellow, bright red metallic blue. They build their nests at any location- it may be around your home, chimneys, sine air bricks, etc. Wasps can cause critical injuries to the people facing sting allergy as the lead to a lot of discomfort and pain. So, check out the natural ways to get rid of wasps.

1. Vinegar

You Will Need:

a) 2-liter empty plastic pop bottle
b) ¼ tsp Dish soap
c) 1 Razor Knife
d) 1 liter Sweetened water
e ) 1 tbsp Jam
f) ½ cup apple cider vinegar
g) Tape

Steps:

a) Take the bottle and cut the shoulder using a razor knife.
b) Throw the top and fill it with water
c) Add apple cider vinegar and dish soap in it
d) Coat the bottleneck with jam, invert it and put it back to the bottle
e) Use tiny pieces of tape to hold it in its position
f) After the wasps enter the trap, empty the trap every day.
g) Repeat the process three times to remove wasps quickly.

2. White Vinegar

You Will Need:

a) 1 cup white vinegar
b) 1 cup water
c) Spray bottle

Steps:

a) Prepare a solution by combining water and the same amount of white vinegar in a spray bottle
b) Keep the bottle with you and put it in the yard, garden, or around your house where you usually see wasps.
c) You can also sprinkle this solution on them as you spot them.
d) Do this every day to kill them.

3. Cloves and Lemon

You Will Need:

a) 20 cloves
b) 1 lemon
c) 1 saucer

Steps:

a) Take a lemon and chop it into half
b) Insert the cloves on each half of lemon.
c) Put them in the saucer and put them in the regions where you see wasps roaming.
d) Repeat the procedure daily top dive wasps away naturally.

4. Chili Pepper Spray

You Will Need:

a) 1 spray bottle
b) 2 cups water
c) 2 spicy chili peppers (chopped)

Steps:

a) Add chopped spicy chili pepper in boiling water.
b) Boil it for three minutes and then switch off the heat.
c) Cool the blend for half an hour
d) Grab the spar bottle and filter the mixture in it.
e) You can spray the combination directly on the wasps or around infested areas if you see them wandering around your house.
f) Do this daily.

5. Cucumber

You Will Need:

a) 1 knife
b) 2 cucumbers

Steps:

a) Take a cucumber and chop them into slices using a knife
b) Now put these slices in the regions of your house or in the lawn where they are in significant numbers
c) Do this daily.

6. Cinnamon Powder

You Will Need:

a) 4 to 5 tbsp Cinnamon Powder

Steps:

a) Drizzle powder near the wasp nest and other infested regions.
b) Do this every day for fourteen days to force the wasps to move out.

7. Peppermint Oil

You Will Need:

a) 1 spray bottle
b) 2 cups water
c) 1 tbsp peppermint oil
d) 1 tbsp unscented shampoo

Steps:

a) Prepare a solution by mixing peppermint oil with the same amount of shampoo in water.
b) Fill the bottle with this blend.
c) Sprinkle the surfaces and areas frequented by wasps.
d) Do this daily for one week.

8. Bay Leaves

You Will Need:

a) 10 to 1 bay leaves

Steps:

a) Take bay leaves and put them the regions where you usually see the wasps
b) Do this every day till the wasps drive them away.
c) Replace the leaves every week.

9. Jar Trap

You Will Need:

a) 1 big jar
b) 1 drill
c) 2 cups orange juice
d) 1 tbsp raspberry jam

Steps:

a) Eliminate the lid from the jar and make a hole of finger size in it using a drill.
b) Fill the jar half with orange juice.
c) Take raspberry jam and use this to cover the inside portion of the lid.
d) Seal the jar with a lid and put it at the back of the yard or the infested areas.
e) Wait till they crawl and in the evening empty the contents of the jar.
f) Refill the jar with the fresh juice.
g) Do this process once or two times till all the wasps get killed.
