Ingredients of Blueberry Muffins
a) 1 cup fresh blueberries
b) 1/2 cup white sugar
c) 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
d) 3/4 cup white sugar
e) 1/3 cup vegetable oil
f) 1 egg
g) 1/3 cup milk
h) 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
i) 1/4 cup butter, cubed
j) 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
k) 1/2 teaspoon salt
l) 2 teaspoons baking powder
Steps to prepare Blueberry Muffins
a) Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 deg Celcius).
b) Grease muffin cups or line with muffin liners.
c) Combine 1 and a half cups flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.
d) Place vegetable oil into a one cup measuring cup.
e) Add sufficient milk and the egg and to fill the cup.
f) Mix this with flour mixture. Fold in blueberries.
g) Fill muffin cups right to the top, and sprinkle with crumb topping mixture.
h) To Make Crumb Topping: Mix together half cup sugar, 1/4 cup butter, 1/3 cup flour, and 1 and a half teaspoons cinnamon.
i) Mix with a fork, and sprinkle over the muffins before baking.
j) Bake it for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until it gets prepared.
