After CBSE board exams, the results of ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12th examinations have also declared on Monday at around 3 pm and the announcement regarding this was made by the CISCE (Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations).
The students have been given with the facility to check their results via ‘mobile messaging” service as well as via the “website of Council and CAREERS portal”.
Gerry Arathoon, The council’s chief executive, and the secretary said:
“Individual students can access their results by logging onto the council’s website i.e www.cisce.org and by selecting the Results 2017 option.”
This year, there is a slight hike in the pass percentage of Class 12th examinations, as this year the percentage has hiked to 96.47% from 96.46% as compared to the last year.
Kolkata Student Is The ISC topper of class 12th….
The ISC topper of class 12th is Ananya Maity from Heritage School, Kolkata. She has scored with 99.5% marks.
And this is what the principal of her school, Seema Sapru said about her:
“I’m glad. I can’t tell you how joyful I am. She is an amazing student. She’s not only intelligent, in academics but also in creative writing. What’s more, she is very well behaved and down to earth”.
Ananya Maity’s father said:
“She is very fond for creative writing. She also loves to play the piano. It is important to say that she devoted many hours to studies.”
As of 10th class, Muskan Abdullah Pathan from Hathcings High School, Pune and Ashwin Rao from Saint Paul English, Bangalore and have attained the top place jointly with 99.4%.
Around 73,633 students appeared in the ISC 12th exam this year and out of the total, the girl’s number is 33,930 while 39,703 were boys.
The number of boys who have failed is 1831 more than the girl’s number which is 769. 988 is the total number of schools which conducted ISC examinations this year.
