Google Calendar is the most famous ways to manage your appointments, trace time with a world clock and much more. The new calendar has bright colors, floating cards, menus hidden behind three dots, and large typography. It now joins the gang with a new design that looks same as the old app, infused with Material Design style. So, let’s check out the best new features in the Google Doodle.
How to Get the New Google Calendar?
Open calendar.google.com, click new Calendar link in the top right. It will upgrade your calendar with a new design. You are asked to pick the information density and color settings.
1. Schedule View
Day view is a new Schedule view that can display calendars to you and your colleague side-by-side. So it works best with G Suite accounts in an agency where everyone’s calendars get shared. Add the calendars of your coworkers from the left sidebar and then choose the Day View (from the menu present in the top left of Calendar). Now click the checkmark beside the calendar of your coworkers, you will spot the schedule side-by-side with your own for that specific day.
You can also use a mini calendar in the left sidebar to choose a different day or arrows in the top to reach the events day by day. But you can’t move the events between the Calendar as other people maintain those. But it is the excellent way to watch out if the other person on your team is busy or free.
