The 98.5-year-old world’s the Oldest Yoga Teacher, HH. Tao Porchon Lynch has visited Indian Peninsula.
American yoga teacher from the United States performed Yoga asanas along with India’s oldest Yoga guru Amma Nannamal (97) at a mass session at Sri Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on the occasion of the 3rd International Yoga Day.
Also, the social activist Anna Hazare and Ananth Kumar who is the Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers were also present at the venue to mark the special event.
Founder of Ikova Yoga Foundation from Japan, Pilot Baba from Kayakalpa Ashram, Family Welfare K R Ramesh Kumar and Yogi Mata Kiko Ikova also attended the program.

Near about 10,000 yoga enthusiasts collected from around the world at Kanteerava Stadium to celebrate the International Yoga Day with kriyathmaka yoga and Suryanamaskar.
It was followed by a 35-minute common yoga protocol of the central government.
Tao Porchon Lynch from New York and Amma Nannamal from Tamil Nadu demonstrated few asanas, proving that yoga helps one stay fit even at this old age.
The event was organized by Ayush Department in association with the Karnataka state Olympic Association, Swasha Foundation, Vyasa Institution, Art of Living, Yoga Gangotri, and Pathanjali Yoga Seva Shikshana Samiti.
The age-old Indian practice has brought people from different countries and culture together.
And this could be clearly seen from with which the people across the world are “practicing yoga” with the great zeal and enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, the rain didn’t dampen the spirit of people in many places such as Delhi and Lucknow.
The whole nation gathered in large numbers at public places and various parks all over the country today to mark the “International Yoga Day” filled with energy and excitement.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the gathering on this day in Lucknow said that “Yoga” has become an essential part of every Indian household.
