Since there is Chandra Grahan this year, Rakhi tie should be avoided during Chandra Grahan sutak time.
a) The lunar eclipse will begin at 10.53 pm.
b) As sutak starts at 1: 52 PM (9 hours before Lunar eclipse) and continues until the end of the day. Therefore it should be avoided during Bhadra.
c) The effect of the Bhadra period will be at 11.04 in the morning.
d) Since the auspicious rituals are forbidden during Sutak and Bhadra tithi, therefore the auspicious time for tying rakhi is between these two days.
