More than 90 people are missing and about 15 dead after a deadly landslide engulfed in Xinmo village in Sichuan Province, south-western China on Saturday.
A second landslide struck the village where the rescue workers have been looking for about 100 people buried under the homes over the weekend by a huge wave of rocks and debris.
The Villagers visited their relatives’ homes on Monday to mourn the death of their loved ones.
After a landslide swept down a mountain, there is no little hope of finding anyone alive after more than 48 hours of fruitless searching.
Chinese state radio said the latest landslide struck the Xinmo village at around 11 a.m. Tuesday….!!
A middle-aged woman who is one of the residents who were away when the massive disaster struck, after she pulled a green blanket she recognized out of the rocks and mud said:
Rescue operation on…!!
The Chinese government has sent about 3,000 rescuers, along with heavy digging equipment, and has promised to do all it can to look for survivors.

Some of the villagers said they know that landslides are a big hazard but the authorities never helped them to move.
Authorities Restricted disaster zone…!!
With the risk of more landslides, the authorities have been limiting access to the disaster prone areas, but the hundreds of people were allowed back on Monday.
Sun Danxian, from a neighboring village who was walking through the incident spot, said:
The government of Mao County, posted a drone video footage of the site on Monday showing about dozen mechanical diggers shifting via a landscape of gray rocks.

About 100 villagers are unhappy because they are not allowed to relocate.
The met government officials insisted them that they had to get to Xinmo village.
A disaster expert at the Ministry of Land and Resources, Xu Qiang said that large-scale relocations in the Xinmo village were difficult.
