Rose Petal Jam Recipe:

Cooking time: 0 mins
Makes: 2 tbsp
a) 1 cup Rose Petals, tightly packed (petals of light pink and fragrant roses)
b) 3 tbsp Sugar
Steps to prepare Gulkand:
a) Collect fresh and fragrant rose petals.
b) Gently wash the rose petals with water and let them dry on a cloth or paper.
c) Put the petals into the mixer. Instantly pulse the petals 1 or 2 times to rip them. You can also cut up the rose petals into pieces.
d) Spread a layer of rose petals in a dry glass jar.
e) Now spread a layer of sugar over the rose petals in equal amount.
f) Then again spread a layer of rose petals over the sugar layer.
g) Repeat until all the rose petals are finished.
h) Close the jar with a lid and keep it in the sunlight for 7 to 10 days
i) Mix the Gulkand every other day using a clean spoon.
j) Store rose petal jam in an airtight container and refrigerate it.
