Ingredients For Making Rose and Almond Ice Cream recipe
a) 1/4 cup shredded rose petals
b) 2 drops rose colour
c) 2 1/2 cups milk
d) 1/2 cup fresh cream
e) 1/4 cup roasted almond (badam) slivers
f) 5 tbsp sugar
g) 1 tbsp cornflour
h) 2 to 3 drops rose essence
How To Prepare:
a) Blend the cornflour and ¼ cup of milk in a bowl, mix them well and keep apart.
b) Combine the remaining 2¼ cups of milk in a deep non-stick pan and boil it on a medium flame for about 4 minutes.
c) Then, add the sugar and cornflour-milk mixture, mix them well and cook it on a medium flame for 8 minutes, while stirring continuously. Cool it completely.
d) Once cooled down, add the fresh cream, red colour and rose essence and mix it well.
e) Now, pour the mixture into a shallow aluminium container. Cover with an aluminium foil and freeze for six hours or until semi-set.
f) Pour the mixture into a mixer and whisk till it becomes smooth.
g) Shift the mixture back into the same aluminium shallow container. Add the rose petals and almonds and mix them well.
h) Cover it with an aluminium foil and freeze for approximately ten hours or until set.
i) Scoop and serve it immediately.
