Bread Raita is a delicious Indian recipe that is prepared from the bread and yogurt.
Bread Raita (Yogurt with bread) ) is easy to make a dish that can be used as side dish for all type for Roti, Briyani, parantha, and pulao.
Water comes in the mouth when the raita is named.It is a wonderful match of sour, salty, and light sweet taste. Pulao and Biryani are incomplete without Raita.
In the summer, the taste of Raita doubles. Curd gives relief to both body and mind by its cooling.
In the summer, I feel that raita should be eaten every day, but not only one raita daily. It’s a good if it’s different. Sometimes the cucumber raita or Bundi raita etc.

Bread Raita Recipe
Course: Side Dish

Ingredients you will need for Bread Raita
a) 8 bread slices
b) 400 gm Curd
c) 2 tsp Ghee
d) 3 Curry leaves
e) 1 tsp Sugar
f) 1 tsp rai (mustard)
g) 1 pinch Asafoetida
h) 1/2 tsp black salt
i) 1 tsp Red Chili powder
j) 1 tsp Cumin
k) 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Steps to prepare Bread Raita:
a) Cut off the bread sides.
b) Cut the each bread slice in equal 12 pieces.
c) Heat the Ghee in a frying pan, add rai, curry leaves, and asafoetida.
d) After 10 seconds add the bread slices into the pan. Simmer it for two minutes.
e) Add sugar, salt, and dry chili powder into the curd and beat it. You can also add some water if needed.
f) Pour the bread pieces into the curd mix.
g) Roast the cumin seeds and grind it to a powder. Sprinkle this black salt and cumin powder over the Bread Raita.
h) The bread Raita is ready to be served.
