How to Use Hibiscus to get rid of Common Hair Problems Fast?


Today almost every women and men are facing the hair issues like hair fall, damaged hair, split ends, dandruff, lice, frizz, oily scalp, dry hair. But with the use of hibiscus, you can get rid of all of them in no time. Hibiscus poses a significant benefit to your hair due to the presence of Vitamin C, Vitamin A, amino acids, and alpha-hydroxy acids content. Plus, it is also readily available and has low rates in the market. Besides making your own oil at home, you can also apply this nature’s wonder on the hair directly.

1. Hibiscus Hair Oil Recipes

A) Hibiscus + Coconut Oil (for hair growth)

You Will Need:

a) Pan
b) 20 hibiscus flowers
c) 500 ml coconut oil

Steps:

a) Heat the coconut oil in a pan on a low flame for five minutes.
b) Now add 10 to 15 fresh hibiscus flowers in it.
c) Stir the oil and when you spot the change in its color (from dark red to dark yellow), switch off the gas.
d) Add the remaining flowers and wit for 5 hours or overnight.
e) Filter the oil the oil into a glass jar.

B) Castor + Hibiscus + Coconut Hair Oil

You Will Need:

a) 1 pan
b) 20 dry hibiscus flowers
c) 2 tbsp castor oil
d) 1/2 cup or 500 ml coconut oil
e) 1 tbsp methi seeds

Steps:

a) Put the pan on the gas at a low flame.
b) Add coconut oil and let it heat for five minutes.
c) Then add dry hibiscus flowers.
d) Once the oil starts changing its color, add methi seeds.
e) Then again wait for it for five minutes until the seeds melt.
f) Now switch off the gas and leave it all night.
g) Filter the oil into a glass bowl the next morning.

C) Aloe + Neem + Hibiscus Hair Oil (For itchy, irritated, and smelly scalp)

Neem oil is abundant in the antibacterial properties that help to treat the scalp infections fast.

You Will Need:

a) 5 to 8 hibiscus leaves
b) 2 tsp of camphor powder
c) 8 to 20 sun-dried hibiscus flowers
d) 500 ml of coconut oil
e) 1/2 a small bowl of fresh neem leaves
f) 2 tbsp of methi
g) 3 tbsp of fresh aloe vera gel
h) 2 tbsp of castor oil

Steps:

a) Put ten hibiscus flowers and the aloe vera gel in the mixer.
b) Grind them well into a smooth paste.
c) Now, put the pan on the stove at medium heat and add the hibiscus paste in it.
d) Cook it on medium flame till it gets reduces half of its quantity.
e) Now add coconut oil, methi, castor oil, and camphor powder.
f) Keep on cooking for the 1 to 2 hours till the whole mixture gets vanished and you left with just oil.
g) After the oil gets ready, then add the remaining flowers in it and stir well.
h) Now, crush the hibiscus leaves and neem leaves into tiny pieces and add this to the mixture.
i) Qait for next two hours and the filter it into a clean glass bowl.

2. Yogurt + Hibiscus Flower (For premature grey hair and strong roots)

You Will Need:

a) 4 tbsp yogurt
b) Few hibiscus leaves
c) 1 Hibiscus flower

Steps:

a) Grind hibiscus leaves and flower well.
b) Mix yogurt to it till you get a fine paste.
c) Massage this paste on your hair scalp for one hour before shampooing.
d) Use this hair mask two times a week.

3. Amla + Hibiscus Hair Pack (for Split-ends and Hair Fall)

This wonderful hair pack makes the follicles strong and maintains a healthy scalp. It also nourishes your hair and makes it silky soft.

You Will Need:

a) 3 tbsp crushed Hibiscus leaves
b) 3 tbsp amla powder

Steps:

a) Immerse amla powder in the amla juice and add hibiscus leaves to it.
b) Apply this amla and hibiscus mixture to your hair for 40 to 45 minutes before rinsing.
c) Use it twice a week.

4. Natural Hibiscus Shampoo

Hibiscus is an excellent ingredient for scalp health, so you can even wash hair with it. Its leaves generate slight foam that helps you cleanse your hair without shredding its natural oils.

You Will Need:

a) 5 hibiscus flowers
b) 15 leaves of this plant
c) Gram flour
d) 1 cup water

Steps:

a) Take the flowers and leaves and boil them in the water for five minutes.
b) Cool it down well.
c) Now add gram flour in it, and your organic shampoo is ready.
d) Use this hibiscus shampoo three times a week.

5. Fenugreek Seeds + Hibiscus Leaves (for Dandruff)

You Will Need:

a) 1 tbsp of fenugreek seeds
b) Hibiscus leaves
c) ¼ cup buttermilk

Steps:

a) Soak fenugreek seeds overnight in water.
b) Now grind a handful of hibiscus leaves, buttermilk, and soaked fenugreek seeds to create a paste.
c) After that, apply it to your scalp and then rinse it with the mild shampoo.
d) Apply this hair pack once a week.

6. Henna + Hibiscus Flowers (for retaining the natural luster)

Hibiscus and Mehendi pack also help you get rid of dandruff and make hair soft. It also balances the pH level of the scalp and moisturizes your hair.

You Will Need:

a) 1 whole lime
b) A handful of henna leaves
c) Few Hibiscus leaves

c) 2 tbsp coconut milk

b) Apply coconut milk and hibiscus paste to your scalp and wait for 30 minutes.
c) Rinse the pack with tepid water.

9. Onion + Hibiscus (for Hair Growth)

Both onion and hibiscus help in the hair growth. Daily use of this pack enhances the hair volume and its thickness.

You Will Need:

a) 1 onion
b) 1/4 cup water
c) A bunch of hibiscus leaves

Steps:

a) Crush onions and scoop out the pulp.
b) With a muslin cloth, filter the juice and store it in a bowl.
c) Now, crush hibiscus leaves with water and the filter it with using a muslin cloth.
d) Combine both the juices and apply the blend to your hair and scalp
e) Wait for fifteen minutes and then rinse it with tepid water.
f) Use it thrice a week.

b) 1 tsp coconut oil
c) Few curry leaves

Steps:

a) Mix all the ingredients to get a smooth paste.
b) Apply this to your hair scalp and rub it for ten minutes.
c) Leave this for half an hour before washing.
d) Use hibiscus, and curry leaves hair pack thrice a week.
