Snake Braid is an adorable hairstyle for school, work or any occasion. It may look tougher than solving the Rubik’s cube but are really simple to make and looks intricate one every woman. It is an alternative version of a standard braid and has a snake like an appearance.
1. Basic Snake Braid
a) Start by choosing a relatively smaller section of hair for the front side of your head.
b) Now use the standard braiding technique to make a braid and leave about an inch of hair at the base unbraided. Also, just note to make the braid tight.
c) Hold the hair strand that in the middle and even push the other two hair stands towards the top of your head.
d) Then, just pull down the two hair strands for some time, and you will watch the snake emerge. You can even pull them as far as you desire.
e) Fix it to the back of your head with the bobby pins.
f) Spray hair hold, and voila you’re done with snake braid.
2. Halo Snake Braid
It is a braid that wraps the top of your head from ear to ear, and it’s an attractive way to keep your hair out of the face.
a) Make one small snake braid on either side of your head by taking hairs form right behind each ear.
b) Set each braid with rubber bands.
c) Now come back to the remaining hairs and take the snake braid just behind your left ear and wrap it around the top of your head.
d) With bobby pins, fix the ends of braid behind your right ear.
e) Do the same thing with the right braid, line it up beside the other braid and pin it to your left ear.
f) Cover the pins with your loose hair and you can also most of the hairs back behind the shoulders or bring it ahead.
3. Side Snake Braid Headband
a) Partition your hair to one side and use it at the very fort of the massive part to make a big snake braid.
b) Now tuck any extra hair for heavy side of your part behind the ear to the same side.
c) When you are done, just set the ends of the braid behind the ear with remaining hairs and pin it in the correct position using bobby pins.
d) Bring some hairs forward to cover the pins and the braid end.
4. Double Princess Snake Braid
a) Spray water on the hair to easily make a braid and then section the hairs into three parts.
b) Now make a three strand braid until the desired length and old the ends on the middle section.
c) Slide the braid up to the maximum.
d) Loosen the snake brad by pulling it downward and fix the braid using rubber bands.
e) Make another snake braid below the first snake braid.
f) Combine both sides of the braids and fix it in one rubber band.
5. Double-Sided Snake Braid
a) Create a messy looped bun leaving nearly 2 inches wide hair sections on each side of your head.
Collect all hairs into a high ponytail at the top of your head and putt via rubber band twice and just pull it halfway via to make a looped bun bringing the ends of pony to the front for a more chick look
b) Bring one of the hair sections into a regular three-strand braid.
Just continue braiding down nearly 1 inch of hair unbraided at ends. Not make braid too tight.
c) Hold the middle hair strand of braid sill and push the remaining of braid towards your roots.
Pinch and hold the end of a middle strand of braid between index and thumb finger and pull it away from your head. And using your index finger and thumb on the opposite hand, slide the remaining of the braid all the way towards your hair scalp.
d) Slowly slide the rumpled up part back down towards the end of hair
Slide the braid back don till you see the ‘S’ formation. Once you have successfully created it, slip the ends of braid between bobby pins and fix it into a messy looped pony. Repeat steps 2 to 4 on another side too and add spray to them.
