PM Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat which started form from Today.
And during his trip, he will address a series of a number of programs in the different parts of the state, including a grand roadshow in ‘Rajkot.’
This will be Modi’s fourth visit this year to Gujarat, where the Assembly elections are due by the end of 2017.
Prime Minister began his tour of Gujarat from Ahmedabad on Wednesday.
This is Modi’s first visit to Rajkot city after becoming PM in 2014….!!
Narendra Modi will also attend few other programs in Rajkot apart from the inauguration of the ‘SAUNI link project’.

After visiting Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad, the PM is now in the Rajkot to lend his presence to the biggest-ever ‘Samajik Adhikarita Shivir’ for the distribution of aids and assistive kits and devices to the disabled persons.
It seems that the entire Rajkot city is in a festive mood with stunning decorations.

Heavy rains lead to waterlogging in many parts of Rajkot including the Race Course ground where Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to distribute assistance kits to over 18,000 disabled persons.

This is the city where Narendra Modi had contested his first assembly elections in February 2002.
For the PM’s visit, security tightened around Rajkot…!!!
Besides 60 SPG commandos, 3 inspector generals of police will supervise the security arrangements.
As many as 27 IPS officers have been set up in the city along with 65 deputy SP’s, 500 police sub-inspectors, 50 police inspectors, and 15 companies of SRP.

He also visited Sabarmati Ashram today, in which he is celebrating its centenary year of Shrimad Rajchandra.
A BJP release said, Shrimad Rajchandra was considered as the spiritual guru of Mahatma Gandhi aka Bapu.
The BJP is organizing several events and programs to gain maximum mileage from the Modi’s visit…!!
While the Prime Minister will be formally welcoming Narmada water in the Aji dam.
Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani already welcomed the Narmada water at the dam and the BJP women’s wing also organized an aarti at the location on Tuesday evening.
