Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is a comedy film that supports the ‘Swach Bharat Misson’ of India prime minister Narendra Modi that will mainly aim to target the sanitation and to eliminate the open defecation primarily in villages.
Actor Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Patekar’s Toilet is now moving towards the impressive 100 crore club collection. Released on 11 August 2017, social drama toilet has got good reviews from the public.
In fact, on 15th August (independence day), it has shown a huge jump and has minted a lot of money. It has launched in 3k screens in India.
|First Day||13.10 Crore|
|Second Day||17.10 Crore|
|Third Day||21.25 Crore|
|Fourth Day||12 Crore|
|Fifth Day||20 Crore|
Although it has a flat collection during its initial days as the days pass on, it slowly raised up, and till now, the film has collected Rs 83.45 crore at the box office.
Toilet continues to hit at the domestic box office and also helped the Bollywood film industry from the downtime it was encountering at present.
This movie will become the Akshay Kumar’s highest earning film ever. And we hope that it will break the Rowdy Rathore’s record of Rs 133.25 crore.
In the last two months, Salman Khan’s Tubelight and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ failed to lure the audience with their drama.
And let’s hope that this film will overcome that and yield the desired result at the Indian box office.
