In an interview with Bollywood Life, Akshay finally spoke about his upcoming project Toilet Ek Prem Katha and the importance of toilets in India.
Earlier the film was scheduled to release in the month of June but now the release date is postponed to August 11, 2017.
Recently, he talks about the issues related to open defecation in India.
More than building toilets, he wants to promote using the same.
Building toilets are not enough. To use them is the greatest part that we Indians need to understand.
He declared that in spite of having all the facilities provided by the government, mostly they aren’t used in the best ways by the public.
Throughout his interview, the actor seemed extremely passionate when he spoke about this “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” project.
He also confessed that he is quite enthusiastic when it comes to the movies that he believes strongly in.
His recent films have catered to various similar subjects. His upcoming ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ will be no exception.
It is directed by Shree Narayan Singh, it has a funny take on the present “Swacch Bharat initiative.”
Akshay Kumar seems to strongly believe in what his film is going to speak.
In a recent conversation, he opened up on how not the lack of right but the present mindsets regarding “defecation” are the main problems.
Akshay went on to add how open defecation can lead to “sexual violence on women.” He even said to stop open defecation in India.

Both the films are strong enough to collect 100 crores at the Box Office. However, Akshay’s upcoming film is made in a funny sense but it has a special message in it.
